So a couple of mornings ago I walked out the front door to find the 12-foot rhododendron bush was in full bloom, like, basically overnight. Couldn't resist trying out the new camera:

Okay, it's a little corny but they sure made me happy when I walked outside and saw them , especially against a backdrop of more flowers. Aren't they striking?
