Photshop for Newbies (me)

Hey,
I've had a copy of Photshop 8 for a bit now but could never really be bothered learning how to use it as it semed quite overwhelming at first, but i've been playing with it the past couple of days and decided i'd like to be able to use it as well as most people.

I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere with some decent beginner tutorials or walkthroughs. I know good-tutorials has loads and i've found some good uns but is there anywhere else? Did a google but the couple I checked out where boring or rubbish...

Thanks ...comnputers on the blink now though... Had to format the hard drive and now photoshop wont install ... computers really knackard hopefully it'll be fixed by the end of the week
