Looks very good should help when buying my new computer. The spec i think is going to be somthing like

AMD 2700xp
160 gig HD
Nvidia fx5200
A gaming case
shit load of fans and some kew LED's
And probable some sort of MSI mother board

As you can tell i am on a bit of a budget

I'm sorry, but being a mac-guy I don't know which processors etc are good or not..

And for that sake, why not just get a mac...?
roghly how much is all that gear gonna cost?
and roughly whay specs will it give you?
I'll see if you can get a better deal from apple or not for you!

Well i will have bout £300 so i need to find deals and i dont really want a MAC

Admitedly, with £300, your probably only gonna get a G3...
But, i don't know how that would compare with what your buying separatly.

well i always use like a PC and i wouldn't mind a MAC but not as my main computer i owuldn't mind savin to get a iBook or a G4/ G5

My computer was built by me and I just bought all the parts like you are doing... I however had a fair bit more than £300 so went a bit further...and am still going

I like building my own computers and as i said i need places that are cheap for computer parts because of plans and such of selling computerss

martian2k4, i understand why you are building your own computer... but i think getting one from dell would still be cheaper than you sourcing for cheap parts and putting it together... unless of course, you're doing it for the thrill of setting up your own computer...
