I am very new to all this stuff.I use http://www.statcounter.com/ and it works great-its free or paid,it does give states,ip's,how long they visit,if they return etc...where they came from...

yeah i've been using statcounter for awhile now...their in-depth stats are amazing. i would recommend them anyday!
