There's some exception or something; like scanning your checks which allows you to tell people what you're getting.
I think that it might be because it's not you but them who has written it.
Don't try it without getting confirmation, however.

I use valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS-2.
Search engines sometimes have trouble with layouts not properly coded. This means that it may not index it correctly, and possibly not even index the entire page.
